On October 2, 2020, the “Dialogue and Tolerance” festival, commemorating the birthday of Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi Rumi, was held at the initiative of the two German-based organizations YAAR e.V. and Abad e.V.

The tradition of tolerance and acceptance in his works was particularly emphasized during the event.

The festival featured lectures by PD Dr. Abbas Poya and Dr. Nehzat Farnoudi, as well as poetry readings by Muzhgan Schaffa, Shakila Nawazy, Homa Wali, and Suhrab Sirat, a film screening, and a whirling dervish dance by Janan Almasi.
